- True Color Direction—As the NAR and MLS’s unethical conduct is exposed more and more each day, more and more real estate brokers and agents are also speaking out that our hands and feet have been tied down for years now. Other Brokerages are seeking to take advantage of the situation to monopolize their opportunities instead of seeking the best benefits for real estate consumers. Compass Brokerage is one of the large Brokerage companies that have decided to leverage in-brokerage commission instead of focusing on giving the most significant exposure to the sellers.
- Small Brokerages that Care – One of the reasons that most small brokerages prefer NOT to join a large Brokerage is because of the internal leadership and culture that “tags” along with large organizations such as NAR and MLS, whether or not it makes sense. It takes a lot of courage and conviction to voice out what is wrong and promote a profession that will be respected. Unfortunately, small brokerages usually do not have the quantity and volume of voice to make enough positive impact.
