- Unfair Government Practices – most business owners have encountered countless instances of unfairness from the government. When the IRS/government makes a mistake, we are expected to chase after them until we catch them. We are expected to keep all proof and evidence to prove we are innocent. When we make a mistake, we are penalized each day, even when the error was made by someone else initially. We can all relate to the contents of this congresswoman very well. How can a nation be prosperous when the government behaves this way? Gotta give lots of respect to this congresswoman taking a stand for many others.
PERSONAL ENCOUNTERS:
- As a Taiwanese-born American, my family and friends have been mistaken as “Chinese” and received verbal, physical, and discriminatory abuse, even from local Court Judges in California. As long as a person looks Asian, whether Taiwanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, Mexican, etc., the reputation of “Chinese” has been dramatically impacted negatively and unfairly on many innocent people. For things to get better, the “Chinese” people living in America need to make a change for the better soon before multiple cultures rise up against them.
- We all have issues; the important factor is the willingness to change for the better and ASAP.
